This is Hiroyuki Ideishi, Structural Manufacturing Engineering Group Leader at Interstellar Technologies.
Hiroyuki and his team are responsible for defining the manufacturing and assembly processes for the entire launch vehicle. Their work includes tackling advanced challenges such as manufacturing the thrust structures and propellant tanks that will support ZERO’s nine cluster engines.
Reflecting on his current role, Hiroyuki shares: “Now that the design work has progressed rapidly and we have moved towards the actual manufacturing, being present at this stage of hands-on production is extremely rewarding.”
Speaking about his experience at Interstellar, he adds: “When we encounter technical challenges, the team comes together to discuss ideas and explore possible solutions. I aim to build a team of professionals who can perform at the highest level”
