This is Yuki, Interstellar’s Quality Assurance Group Leader.

Yuki leads the team responsible for ensuring quality across every stage of ZERO’s development, from design and manufacturing to testing and launch operations.

He and his team established Interstellar’s Top-Level Quality Standards, which define the baseline every component and test must meet to be used in ZERO.

Reflecting on the differences between industries, Yuki explains: “In the automobile industry, mass production means quality is built into the process itself, but with rockets, where production volumes are low, each unit must be inspected and tested individually”

On the collaboration with the Toyota Group, he adds: “By combining the traditional rocket approach with the strengths of the automotive industry, we’re building a new framework. This is key to achieving cost-optimized rockets”
